Introduction

I'm currently an Engineer at Clover in Mountain View, California.

Before that I was Research Scientist and Research Educator for the Freshman Research Initiative and the Department of Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin (UT). I work in the Learning Agents Research Group led by Peter Stone and research in the general area of Machine Learning and Robotics, some of the research projects I'm working on are:

• Legged Robots
• Autonomous Vehicles
• Run-time optimisations

I'm also a member / attendee of a few reading groups which 'may' contain some interesting papers to read:

• UTCS Reinforcement Learning Reading Group
• Evolutionary Computation Reading Group

In 2006 I received my Phd Machine Learning on AIBO Robots from the The University of Newcastle, Australia under the supervision of Stephan Chalup and Rick Middleton.

During my time at Newcastle I competed in 6 RoboCups as part of the NUbots four-legged team, finishing 1st in 2006, 2nd in 2005, 2007 and 3rd in 2002,2003 and 2004. More information can be found in my bio and by looking at my publications.
