University of Texas Doctoral Candidate

Judah De Paula is a computer science doctoral student studying artificial intelligence with the University of Texas at Austin. I received my B.S. in computer science with a minor and certificate in cognitive sciences from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

My dissertation work involves modeling the visual cortex of trichromatic mammals using self-organizing neural networks. I use the simulation tools LISSOM and Topographica. Additional details can be found at the Neural Networks Research Group website.

This website contains information for scholarly pursuits as well as entertaining endeavors. I have not made a clear separation when organizing the material.
